Dr Amol Wagholikar is an accomplished technologist, researcher and academic. He has expertise in I.T, technology enabled research and development in the area of health services and education. As a researcher and technologist, he has contributed in many high profile initiatives in Australia and India.
He has served as a Research Scientist with CSIRO-Australia’s national science agency, a visiting fellow with Queensland University of Technology and a teaching staff with University of Sunshine Coast and Central Queensland University. He has successfully contributed to Queensland Government initiatives. He has especially led highly valuable research collaboration in prostate cancer care, tele healthcare and emergency medicine. He has successfully collaborated with researchers from Movember Foundation, Prostate Cancer Research Foundation, Stanford University and Harward Medical School.
He has led global initiatives in health services delivery research and physical activity based wellness initiatives in Australia and India. He has collaborated with Sankara Nethralaya on telehealth projects in rural parts of Tamilnadu in India. He has authored high quality research publications and has given invited talks in high quality international conferences.
Dr Amol Wagholikar is also a start-up founder and CEO of innovative online business. He has participated in M.I.T entrepreneurship boot camp. He has expert understanding of Australia’s National Innovation ecosystem and India’s capability.
Dr Amol Wagholikar has accomplished PhD in computer science and Masters in IT from Griffith University in Australia. He has accomplished Bachelor of Engineering from Savitrabai Phule Pune University in India.
