Mr. Dale Sheehan

Dale is a Retired Assistant Commissioner, Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He graduated John Abbott College Police Technology, Carleton University (Criminology/Law) and Sprott School of Business Executive Human Resources Leadership Program.

Dale served internationally with the RCMP and United Nations Peacekeeping forces. He was Director General, Learning and Development with responsibilities for  National and International Training.

In October 2008, Dale won an international competition as INTERPOL’s first Director of Police Training. He was posted in France and Singapore for 8 years.

He was a RCMP Adjudicator and Mediator, Past President; Canadian Association Of Police Educators, INTERPOL Group Of Experts Police Training, Canadian Police Knowledge Network, and RCMP Quarterly Board.

A published historian, he co-authored the Canadian best seller “Behind the Badge” and co-edited “Police Organization and Training, Innovations in Research and Practice” and “Match fixing in Football.” He is a freelance writer, published in several magazines and newspapers and funds a scholarship assisting criminology and law students.

Dale implemented the INTERPOL  Integrity in Sport Directorate and is currently Director, International Center Sports Security lecturing internationally on integrity and corruption in sport.

Dale Sheehan is recipient of nine medals of honour and a Member of the Order of Merit.
