Muthuraj Guruswamy (Raj) is currently Director at Raj Business Consultants and recently worked as General Manager – Business Development with primary responsibility to provide high level strategic planning advice to the Executive Team regarding new business opportunities in Australia that align with existing business verticals of Adani and maintain interface with Government at Federal, State and Local council levels.
Raj has over 2 decades of Australian work experience, he has worked with Aurizon focussing on developing the rail business for the Galilee Basin and led the early negotiations between GVK and Aurizon. He has also successfully established businesses of Linfox and Toll Group in South-east Asian countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Laos and India. Raj has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Annamalai University, India and an MBA from UTS, Sydney. He is also a Councillor for the Australian Institute of International Affairs in Brisbane.
